DESCRIPTION:[vc_row gap=”35″ equal_height=”yes”][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text] \n20th Anniversary Martin Devlin Memorial 5k Fun Run/Walk\n\nCheck-in begins at 6:45\nRace Starts at 8am\nPrizes/Raffles at 9am\n\nFund Raiser for VNA Hospice of the Southwest Region\n\nAs in past years\, proceeds from this Fun Run will be going to VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region. \n\n\nT-shirts\, Awards and Raffle prizes!\nT-shirts to the first 100 entrants.\nAwards for the overall male and female finishers\, the youngest female and male runners\, and the most senior male and female runners.\nRaffle prizes. Drawing will immediately follow the race.\nWinners will be picked at random from the registered entrants that are present at the time of the drawing.\n\nCourse route\nStart at the entrance to the Poultney Elementary School (PES ) driveway (at the fire hydrant). Start by going LEFT (east-ish) along Allen and then Wheeler to York Street. Right on York St. Go all the way to the New York border ( bridge) and then left onto Greenfield Lane (bike shop) to the end. Turn around and come all the way back along York St. to College St. and then right onto College St. to Main St. Left on Main St. to the rail trail. Left on the rail trail. Head north until the path that leads to the power line north of the school. Left off the rail trail onto the field behind the elementary school\, past several light posts and turn left where directed ( the tennis courts will be on your right) and then through the gate. Bereavement support groups often allow participants to process their grief\, share and receive helpful advice\, and create a community with others walking in similar paths. \nThe groups will take place weekly on Tuesday at 6pm in the Casella Conference Room at the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region.
