Finance Assistant – Part-time (approximately 22 hours per week) – Rutland office

VNAHSR is looking for a Finance Assistant to join our energetic, fast-paced business office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Data entry of billing/ financial information into billing and accounting systems
  • Process accounts payable
  • Assist in processing of bi-weekly payroll; daily posting of accounts receivable payments; assistance with preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Input, analyze and reconcile general ledger
  • Generate various monthly reports
  • Assist with the annual agency audit.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of healthcare accounting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office required.

The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region is looking for an experienced Medical Biller to work in our busy billing office. This is a full-time – fixed term position.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with third-party payor billing.
  • Process bills/accounts receivable in accordance with federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous billing experience preferred

Medical Scheduler – Full time; benefited – Rutland office

Key responsibilities:

  • Interact with, schedule and communicate schedule to program staff in a timely manner
  • Accurately enter scheduling data into scheduling software to reflect changes/actual schedule in a timely manner.
  • Address and/or route staff and patient questions to program managers.
  • Up-date clients and staff on schedule changes.
  • Serve in rotating on call schedule.

Qualifications:

Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Nurse – Rutland Office

The VNAHSR is looking for a Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator to work in our home care program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diabetes education and nursing intervention to adult and pediatric clients in their homes
  • Develop and educate patients in self-management plans
  • Be a resource for peers on disease management, symptoms, etc
  • Reconcile medications and make recommendations to physician as needed

Requirements:

  • Current Vermont RN license
  • CDE certification or previous diabetes education experience so as to qualify for CDE exam
